Kirsikankukkajuhla 18.5.2025

Klo 14 alkaen, Launeen kirsikkapuisto, Yläportinkatu, Lahti.

Tervetuloa koko perheen keväiseen hanamiin, piknikpuistojuhlaan! Ota ystävät ja eväät mukaan ja tule nauttimaan keväästä.

Ohjelmassa mm. japanilaista ja suomalaista musiikkia, tanssia, runoutta ja työpajoja.

Työpajoissa tehdään ja opitaan: japanilainen kalligrafia-työpaja, origami-työpaja, luovien luontotanssien työpaja ja runo-työpaja – tankarunoja.

Tapahtuma tehdään Lahden Runomaraton ry, Lahden Eteläisen Kumppanuuspöydän, Painovoima ry, Suomen Shakuhachiyhdistys ry ja Hokkaido-Suomi -seuran yhteistyönä.

Kirsikankukat saattavat ehtiä kukkia jo toukokuun alkupuolella, mutta kirsikkapuisto kasvaa ja voi hyvin koko kesän.

Alueella ei ole autoille parkkipaikkoja. Suosittelemme saapumaan julkisilla kulkuvälineillä, kävellen tai pyöräillen.

The Cherry Blossom Festival is a spring celebration for the whole family and all the city’s residents in the Laune Cherry Park. Welcome with friends and even a picnic lunch to enjoy the arrival of spring, a nice program and being together.

The program offers Finnish and Japanese music, dance, poetry, and workshops where you can try out Japanese calligraphy, origami (paper folding), creating tanka poems, and/or creative dance.

The event is organized in collaboration with the Lahti Poetry Marathon Association, the Lahti Southern Partnership Table, the Painovoima Association, the Finnish Shakuhachi Association and the Hokkaido-Suomi Society.

The cherry blossoms may bloom as early as early May, but the cherry orchard will grow and thrive throughout the summer.

There is no parking in the area. We recommend arriving by public transportation, walking or cycling.
