Hasso Krull (born 1964) is an estonian poet, translator and esseist. Krull’s poetry book Meeter ja Demeeter was published in 2004 and it is based on folklore of many many different nations. Meeter ja Demeeter tells a story about the world that is destroyed by a great flood but then made new again.
M&D performance is based on Krulls Meeter ja Demeeter and it combines modern estonian poetry with music. The performance consists of two parts: the first one deals with the flood and the second with the new one after it. Directed by Jukka Hyde Hytti,who will be also playing Meter. Ilona Korhonen as Demeter, lyrics and brass instrument by Hepa Halme, vocals and tuba Taito Hoffrén, percussion by Markus Ketola.
